What we collect

When you use Panes we process account information from your Keystone identity (name, email, organization membership), operational data about your browser sessions (session names, lifecycle events, regions, timestamps), and usage metering events used for billing.

We do not inspect the content of pages your browser sessions visit. Screenshots you capture belong to your tenant and are retrievable only with your tenant's permissions.

How we use it

Operational data runs the service: placing sessions, enforcing concurrency and entitlements, rendering the console, and billing usage. We use aggregate, de-identified metrics to improve reliability. We do not sell personal data, and we do not use your session content to train models.

Credentials

Term credentials minted for live sessions are short-lived and never persisted by the service after issuance. Treat them as secrets; we cannot recover a credential after the dialog is closed — only re-mint a new one.

Retention

Session metadata is retained while your account is active and for a limited period afterward as required for billing disputes and platform audit. You may request deletion of your account data through the contact page; identity data is governed by your Keystone organization's policies.

Subprocessors

Panes runs on L1fe platform infrastructure: Omega (compute), Keystone (identity), and Garden (usage metering). Session placement occurs in the region you select (iad1, sfo1, or fra1).
